A Catechist’s Guide to Vatican II

The insights and teachings of the sixteen documents of the Second Vatican Council continue to shape the Church today. Through its mission and invitation to renewal, the Council emphasizes the value of the people of God reading Scripture regularly, actively participating in the liturgy, being in dialogue with the world, and much more. Pope Leo XIV highlights the importance of these documents in a world undergoing constant change and seeking guidance, wisdom, and hope.

In this thought-provoking booklet, learn why Vatican II still matters and how, in continually drawing the Church back to Jesus Christ, the Council documents can guide the ministry of catechists as they form disciples and serve as faithful witnesses to the Gospel.
