Spirituality Seeking Theology

Making sense of Christian faith through an understanding of spirituality.
A companion to Haight’s Christian Spirituality for Seekers, this book links Christian vocabulary to a living spirituality that faces problems and asks questions from new perspectives. For people who do not understand church doctrine or fail to see its bearing on church doctrine or fail to see its bearing on their immediate lives, Christian spirituality can offer a more pertinent and fulfilling avenue toward faith. In treating the Christian story of creation, the life of Jesus, the history of the church, eschatology, and more, Haight suggests ways in which spirituality, the cultivation of a relationship with the transcendent, by its very nature leads the practitioner to the key questions of theology.Roger Haight
