10 Things Every Minister Needs to Know

Why do some church leaders thrive while others fizzle? What can a preacher who has lost his passion do to flourish in church leadership once again? How should a pastor handle the overwhelming demands on his time, energy, emotions and family?

Dr. Ronnie Floyd delivers a practical guide to ministry for pastors and church leaders. After decades of pastoral ministry, Floyds fire burns red hot to live and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 10 Things Every Minister Needs to Know he offers invaluable wisdom for sustaining family relationships and emotional health while moving ministry teams and churches to succeed.

Floyd presents a clear plan for living out Gods plan instead of living in reaction to other peoples plans. Dont miss his wise counsel on decision-making, choosing your battles, obedience, and servanthood.

Wisdom is to be prized more highly than riches. The wealth of practical, biblically sound principles Floyd offers is a treasure chest of wisdom birthed from the real experiences and true successes of one of Americas great church leaders.

10 Things Every Minister Needs to Know is highly recommended by pastors of growing churches, seminary leaders, and professors. Dr. Ergun Caner, President of Liberty Theological Seminary recommends that church leaders “devour this work. The chapter on prayer alone is worth ten times the price.”

Dr. Floyds wife, Jeanna, wrote the companion to this book: 10 Things Every Ministers Wife Need’s to Know. Together these books can inject light, life, and hope into the future of your church and church leaders.
