Baby Quilt: Brother Sun (Large)

Inspired by one of the most well known and beloved prayers written by the great St. Francis of Assisi, we are completely in love with this reversible day and night design.

The Canticle of the Sun was sung by St. Francis and his friends as a song of praise and thanksgiving to God.

With Brother Sun weve included the line, Of you, Most High, he bears the likeness.- in praise of Gods radiant splendor- but we also love the double meaning- that our little ones also bear the likeness of God.

With Sister Moon weve included the line, in heaven you formed them clear and precious and beautiful. Because like the stars in the heavens, our little ones are beautiful, precious and formed by the hands of God.

With St. Francis, we offer praise to God for the gifts of creations and the gift of life.

We couldnt leave our bigger kids out of the fun! When we received the samples of our first baby quilts, our whole family fell in love with them. So we thought- why not make blankets big enough for anyone in the family to use?

These gorgeous large throws are the perfect size for snuggling on the couch, and are a beautiful addition to a childs bed.

Baby-soft comfort, for the whole family!

Eight layers of breathable cotton muslin allows for comfortable temperature regulation and dreamy snuggles.- Made from 100% organic cotton with cotton jersey trim
Designed to last: All of our new blankets (swaddles, baby quilts and large quilts) are printed with non-toxic dyes that are infused into the fabric. The beautiful designs will stay vibrant, wash after wash.
