Called By Triune Grace

Divine Rhetoric and the Effectual Call

Reformed theology speaks of the divine act that leads to human conversion in terms of the effectual call. Jonathan D. Hoglund, building on the work of Kevin Vanhoozer and Michael Horton, develops a dogmatic account of triune rhetoric to describe this calling. The result is a creative and biblically grounded work of Reformed theology.
