Conversations Between an Atheist and a Christian

Rene de Groot

Many people call themselves “non-believers”, or even “atheists”, without realizing what this means, without reflecting on the motivations and foundations of their beliefs (because, non-belief, as well as atheism, are well and truly beliefs too), and above all, without realizing the consequences.
In this little book, you’ll find two friends, a Christian and an atheist, in several friendly conversations. The Christian tries to challenge his friend about his non-belief, with arguments, but above all with well-founded questions. As the conversations unfold, the non-believing friend realizes that he has never really thought about the important questions of life (and the afterlife), but neither has he ever realized who he really is.
The style chosen, simple conversations, will give you ideas on how, perhaps, you can also enter into a good discussion with those around you, so that they too can reflect and realize the significance of these all-important questions. Who am I? Am I just a physical body with chemical reactions? What’s my personality? Where do I come from? Will I still exist after death? In fact, what is death?
A very useful booklet, for Christians and non-Christians alike, to read just as a brain teaser, or as a tool for evangelisation.
