Dedicated to conductor Kroly Neumayer and his orchestra, the Pcs Railway Workers’ Concert Wind Ensemble, this symphony comprises three movements that merge classical traditions with innovative developments. In the first movement, Dubrovay extends the Scriabin-type sonata form by combining two fast sections. The second movement contrasts lyrical themes with an undercurrent of a subterranean, negative force, which is ultimately overcome by the powerful, chorale-like communal singing derived from modal scales. The third movement is a cheerful, dance-like scherzo enhanced with comical and humorous sound effects.Hungarian Translation Overview (ttekints):”Dubrovay Lszl: Tavaszi szimfnia” egy kortrs fvszenekari m, amely 2009 tavaszn keletkezett.
