Saint Raphael the Archangel

We meet the archangel Raphael in the Old Testament book of Tobit. He appears with a mission of healing, saying the Lord has sent me to heal you, and to deliver Sara your sons wife from the devil. For I am the angel Raphael, one of the seven, who stand before the Lord. The name Raphael means God heals. He is invoked often as a patron of health and wellness and his mission from the Old Testament continues tothis day.Feast Day: September 29Patronage: Healing, Illness, Mental Illness, Stress/Anxiety
