Siegfried Berg Kompositionen 1234 / LP VinylProduct Details:Artist:Siegfried BergComposer:Siegfried BergGenre:Classical, Contemporary MusicOverviewSiegfried Berg (born 1902 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein) is a remarkable figure who skillfully merges his career as a mechanical engineer with his passion for music composition. His technical background as Dr.-Ing. in the fields of engineering, research, and education greatly influences his approach to musical composition, demonstrating a unique synthesis of logic and creativity. While Berg is deeply rooted in the functional world of engineering, he perceives art, particularly music, as a way to expand both the intellectual and emotional capacities of individuals. This album features Berg’s compositions, reflecting his belief that both fieldsscience and artare not only compatible but complementary. Music, to him, should exhibit a sense of structure and order, much like engineering, yet with the ability to transcend functionalism and evoke deep emotional responses. His works are often marked by a clear, organized aesthetic while maintaining an openness to intuitive creativity.Berg’s compositions present an interesting blend of innovation and tradition. His musical approach seeks harmony between strict formal techniques and natural, expressive elements. The result is music that is both structured and emotionally resonant, rooted in classical forms but infused with a modern sensibility.Box #150
