Speaking of God

Many of us grew up with the image of a distant Godone who looked down from on high and may have seemed a million miles away. In this engaging and inspiring book, pastoral theologian and author Bill Huebsch invites us to envision God whose Presence is woven into our daily lives, with all the twists and turns, highs and lows. No longer is the sacred confined to the interior four walls of churches; instead, our encounter with the Holy is constantly unfolding, wherever we may be.The book thoughtfully explores what we believe, how we pray, how we live our lives, and how we organize our pastoral work in light of this new vision. In this way of being, our livesa pilgrimage to the heart of Holy Mystery, as Huebsch saysbecome a shared journey of discipleship, where faith grows in the most ordinary circumstances. As pilgrims of faith speaking the language of love and hope, we are nourished at this life-giving feast of encounter with God, creation, and each other.
