TBS: Abraham and Sarah

By summoning the faith of father Abraham and mother Sarah, Gods people anticipated the future when their descendants would be as numerous as the stars. The Bible doesnt idealize Israels ancestors; it portrays Abraham and Sarah as real people, with conflicting emotions and fallible understanding. The loyal legacy of Abraham and the numberless offspring of Sarah have enabled people for thousands of years to trust in Gods faithfulness and know that the Lord will prosper their future. As sons and daughters of Abraham and Sarah, we too can step into the unknown, trusting God to deliver on Gods promises.Stephen J Binz
