The First Good Shepherd

David is a shepherd boy who is sent to watch his fathers sheep. Hebrings them to grazing places and to water, and tries to protect themfrom the dangers of wolves and vultures. But the smallest one gets lost!David searches and rescues the little sheep from the vultures overhead, and he brings it back to its mother in the flock. Luckily, David is notalone, but God watches over him as David watches over the sheep. AsDavid watches the sheep at night, he begins to sing what will becomePsalm 23.
