Produced by Omar Rodrguez-Lpez,Amputechturefeatures a mix of chaotic rhythms, sweeping melodies, and abstract lyrics, drawing from the band’s progressive influences while remaining uniquely their own. Highlights include “Vicarious Atonement,” “Tetragrammaton,” and the multi-layered “Meccamputechture,” which explore themes of spirituality, conflict, and personal reflection. The album features contributions from several notable musicians, including John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers), who adds his signature guitar style to the tracks.
