Thirsty for a Miracle

An inspiring true story of one mans journey of finding his purpose as he overcomes overwhelming obstacles to bring clean water to millions of the worlds neediest peopleinviting us all to discover the amazing way that God has designed each one of us to impact this world in a unique way.

The problem was so huge it seemed as though nothing short of a miracle was needed.

Initially a career goal for him, bringing clean water to the world became Greg Allgoods passionate life mission, first as part of his job at Procter & Gamble and later in his role as VP of Water at World Vision. A scientist with a flair for marketing and a drive for global impact, Allgood came to care deeply about the millions of people around the world who were getting sick and dying from lack of access to safe water. But his scientific background and his reputation as the blue-eyed prince who was always charging to the rescue werent going to be enough to make a meaningful difference in the issue of water purification. He had much to learn before he could even begin to accomplish what he believed God was calling him to do.

In Thirsty for a Miracle, Allgood recounts how he overcame multiple difficulties and hurdles, including his own ego and past mistakes, to join with others in bringing clean water to developing countries, conflict zones, and areas hit by natural disasters where millions of the worlds poorest people were suffering because the only water they had was dirty, polluted or toxic.
